Well, an IDIOT is not always the one who ruins up everything there & then, but he can also be the one who ruins up a part, then gets back on his feet again to ruin the left over. Such has been the case in my story. It was my first day in UIT, where most people were trying to settle down with their own branchmates, but I was already into something more lively, peeking into the other branches and so was my story ahead.
Trust me, I was never away from troubles, it was like being out of the frying pan & into the fire. Life at UIT didn’t just meant another day at college, a quarrel with a teacher, or an obnoxious fight, or finding a perfect girl. It led me to learn a few things, how to walk out of the class in front of the faculty, a few girly games that we played on our bunks from the classes, GPLs & all the fun we had at the Sanchi corner. It also led me to discover a few hidden talents within me, copying in exams was one of them, to submit a pre-written paper in Hussain Sir’s midsem tests or to offer 10 bucks to the security guard for allowing us to play cricket at the terrace. And I also won’t pull any punches in saying that I found some valuable friends Lavi, Umi,
Being popular has its own side-effects, for one, you can be caught easily when you create a mischief and second, you don’t want that to happen especially when your elder bro is a super senior at college. So being involved in a fight, or creating nuisance, or being caught at bunks had some other problems as well for me. I never actually wanted to leave a place that gave me a bunch of dear ones, a few whom I can love, one whom I’ll remember (ABHI), some unknown well wishers, a few rare tears & some moments that I would keep with me my entire life.
Today, I have an entirely different college life here @ NIT Bhopal, but I’m always going to miss those joyful times and all my buddies. Life has flipped from UIT to NIT, but I guess some vacant spaces are meant to be vacant anyhow.
Missing everyone back @ UIT….
